Types of SEND in School

At Wheatley Hill Primary School , we have experience of supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs the four main areas are:

  • Communication and Interaction

  • Cognition and Learning

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health

  • Sensory/Physical

School aims to identify and support children’s primary need. Here at Wheatley Hill School, we provide data on the levels and types of need to the Local Authority. This is collected through the school census.
